Gateway is a general audience web site, intended for users of all ages. Personal information of all users is collected, used and disclosed as described in this Statement of Privacy.
Collection of your Personal Information
Gateway collects personal information from its clients, such as e-mail addresses, names, home or work addresses or telephone numbers. Gateway may also collect demographic information, such as ZIP codes, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites. Information collected by Gateway may be combined with information obtained from other Gateway services. Gateway is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on Web sites outside of the Gateway's website.
Use of your Personal Information
Gateway uses client information to inform its clients of account information and progress on various related projects. Gateway does not sell, rent or lease its client lists to third parties.
We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of mailings and/or providing customer support. We will only provide those companies the personal information they need to deliver the service or product. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information and are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.
Gateway does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.
Gateway may access and/or disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Gateway or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Gateway; or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Gateway, its Web sites, or the public.
Protecting Children's Information
The online financial services through the credit union's Web site are not designed for or directed toward children under age 13. We do not knowingly solicit or collect data from children, and we do not knowingly market to children online without express parental consent or notification. If we receive online information from any child, we will only use the information to respond directly to a child's request. We recognize that protecting children's identities and online privacy is important and that responsibility rests with us and with parents. If you believe your child has provided personally identifiable information to us, please contact us so we can allow you the opportunity to review and delete such information.
